The LS3CPF has the following vacancy
MARKETING AND PROMOTIONS OFFICER (MPO)
The MPO will be a contracted individual for the marketing portfolio and must be an enterprising marketer who contributes with a sense of ownership to support various activities critical to Lytellton Sector 3 Community Policing Sub Forum (LS3CPSF).
The MPO will participate in a range of fundraising geared towards business, community leaders, stakeholders and the general public.

We as residents of the Lyttelton Sector 3 area and also members of the LS3CPF (Police forum) would like to thank all the people for their commitment and support during the crisis that took place nearby Gem Village on 10 February 2014. This happening revealed to us how caring and concerned our people in this area really are.
What a comfort it was, when we arrived at the scene on Monday evening, to see all these people willing, to come and help or support, in any way there was a need. People from the Village arrange coffee for the family and the Patrols were standing ready to move as soon as the word dropped. Generators and lights were trying to push the darkness aside and even old familiar faces pitched up to come and help. The number of helpers rose to about 250 people.…Continue

Due to the resignation of our current chairperson we need to nominate a new Chairman of the Lyttelton SAPS Sector 3 Community Police Forum, before our next residents meetings. Which will also be our AGM.
Nomination forms are available at the JOC and completed forms have to be placed in the appropriate box at the JOC or by mail to firstname.lastname@example.org. The closing date for nominations will be 17:00 on Monday, 03 March 2014.
Duties of the office bearers is available from the Secretary on request.

As for 2013, a word of thanks to everyone that took hands with our Community Police Forum in sector 3. We made a big difference against crime in 2013.
We as LS3CPF management wish you and your families and loved ones a very prosperous 2014.
It is a pleasure being part of this community. We look forward working together to make our community an even better place to work and stay in 2014!

Van my kant af sommer net ‘n groot dankie vir elkeen wat gisteraand betrokke was by die insident.
Die rede hoekom ons patrollie voertuie op die pad moet he is net weereens beklemtoon gisteraand.
Deur voertuie en opgeleide patrollielede op die pad te he beteken ons is pro-aktief en dit maak die reaksie-tyd na ‘n insident net soveel vinniger.
Gisteraand het daar het ‘n boodskap deurgekom van ‘n persoon wat weggeloop het, moontlik depresief is en ‘n gevaar vir homself inhou. Van ons patrolliemanne het die aangeduide area gepatrolleer en op die persoon afgekom waar hy homself aan ‘n straat-naambord se paal ophang het.
